Our sewing group is back for 2024 and we had a chat with Cathy about why she comes to the group.
Cathy didn't know how to sew and was scared of the sewing machine. She had taken classes before but always asked her classmates to use the sewing machine for her. Today, when we spoke to her she was using the sewing machine to make a dress for her daughter! She loves coming to the group and is glad that she has learned how to sew.
"I come because I have always wanted to learn to sew. I was scared of the sewing machine, but now I am making a dress for my daughter."
